Information related to JET 2019 results will be tentatively available in last week of April, 2019 on this website. The list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective institutes. Each institute will send interview letters through email to the shortlisted candidates directly. Criteria for short listing may vary for different courses. Please visit the admission hotlinks of the respective websites of the institutes and read the prospectuses carefully for further information.

Please note that each institute shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Orientation, Auditions (for acting candidates) & Interview. Performance in JET 2019 examination is an important component in the admission process. Both institutes depending on their admission policies will additionally use other factors like performance in orientation & interview and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary in both institutes.
If a candidate is shortlisted for interviews by FTII, Pune/ SRFTI, Kolkata, he/she must comply with the following eligibility verification:
Mark sheets and Degree Certificate
A candidate must show all the mark sheets and submit attested copies to prove his/her eligibility at the time of orientation/interview. Further, if a candidate is selected for a programme, original degree certificate and mark sheets of all semesters/years along with their attested copies must be submitted for verification.
Reservation Category Requirements
If shortlisted for orientation/interview, SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PWD candidates must show the original caste/class and/or disability certificate and submit a photocopy at the time of orientation/interview. Further, if a candidate is selected for a programme, the original certificate and attested copy of the same must be submitted for verification.
Candidates claiming OBC-NCL status may please note that the OBC certificate, including non – creamy layer status should have been issued on a date within one year before the closing date of receiving application. Candidates claiming PwD status should submit latest certificate in the prescribed form which should have been issued on a date within six months before the closing date of receiving application. Certificates not fulfilling these condition will be held invalid, and therefore unacceptable.
Instances of any incorrect information or process violation detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidate from the selection process and he/she will not be allowed to appear for JET in future. If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected in subsequent years, such disqualification will take place with immediate effect.
Candidates in the Final Year of Graduation
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree, and awaiting results, can also apply for JET 2019. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme, only if they submit a passing certificate from the Principal / Registrar of their University/institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective institute) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree, on the date of the issue of the certificate.
